New in the DylanCover.com collection:
Trials and Tribulations

Please Mrs. Henry (2:55)
Open The Door, Homer (3:14)
Trials and Tribulations
Trials and Tribulations
CD: Vanguard VSD-6565; 1970 (US)

I don't know much about Trials and Tribulations, the band. The common phrase name makes it difficult to search for.
The LP jacket lists the members - Sonny Wilf, Jim Harvey, John Wilf, Gene Fuchs - and the recording credits - produced by Bob Scherl, recorded at Sound Factory, Hollywood California - but there is no biographical or additional information. There are 2 covers besides the Dylan songs: Robbie Robertson's pre-The Band Stones That I Throw and Bobby Darin's Simple Song Of Freedom. The other 8 songs are originals written by John & Sonny Wilf, with Jim Harvey co-credited on one track.
The 2 Basement Tapes songs were released on a single, promo copies with the stereo/mono versions of Please Mrs. Henry are more common than the stock 45 with both songs.
The LP is typical 1970-era California folk-rock. Please Mrs. Henry leads off side-1 and Open The Door, Homer opens side-2.

They are a band from Alabama. They toured in the early 70's and played at local Los Angeles clubs or bars
They cut that album but it never really sold.
