Martin Yarbrough (not to be confused with Glenn Yarbrough of the Limeliters) was a sadly overlooked folksinger from Chicago, who began as a jazz percussionist before he picked up a guitar and started singing folksongs in 1957.
Blowin' In The Wind is as good as any of the early covers of the song, and I consider Martin's Farewell to be one of the best versions, indeed it is high on my list of all Dylan covers. Hope you like it as much as I do.
To my knowledge, these recordings have not been issued on CD. Argo was the subsidiary jazz & folk music label of the legendary Chess Records.

Thanks, Dave, for these two very nice covers, downloadable for the forum members.

Martin was wonderful; we used to go to It's Here in East Rogers Park to see him in the '60s
