R.I.P. Odetta
Odetta, one of the first to record a full album of Dylan covers, has died at age 77. Odetta Sings Dylan was released by RCA in 1965. Odetta had previously covered Blowin' In The Wind on her 1963 LP Odetta Sings Folk Songs, and Paths Of Victory on her 1964's Odetta Sings of Many Things. Both these earlier tracks were included on CD reissues of Odetta Sings Dylan.
