Miscellaneous ramblings...

14 mp3s from the Concert for Bob Dylan's 67th Birthday, Berlin on May 24 can be downloaded HERE. 8 are by Martin Reimann, and 6 are credited to Dylan Hears a Who (unknown if this is related to the Dylan sings Dr. Seuss spoof recordings that circulated last year under that title.)
Thanks to Detta

A live cover of Sara (spelled Sarah) by New Zealand band Richie Rhinestone and The Insatiable Opium Cowboys can be downloaded HERE. The track is from their 2003 CD I ain't never been to heaven, but I hear they've got a real good bar.
Thanks to Bill Hester

Recent reports that the upcoming album by Carla Bruni, the Italian ex-model and wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, contains a Dylan cover appear to be incorrect. The song identified as a Dylan cover in news articles is You Belong To Me (See the pyramids along the Nile... Just remember darling, all the while, you belong to me), which Bob covered but of course didn't write. I have not seen a full tracklist for the CD, to be released in July, so it's possible there is another Dylan song on the album.

The Maria Muldaur Live in Concert DVD does indeed include all 12 covers. The CD version includes one non-Dylan song more than the DVD. The DVD includes a 8:26 interview with Maria discussing Bob Dylan, and the making of the Heart Of Mine CD and other aspects of her career.

The other recent additions to Dylan Cover Albums have also been updated with complete discograpical information: Kokomo's In The Well and Swamp Dylan's Roots
