Miscellaneous ramblings...

Bernie Conrads (of Bernie's Autobahn Band) performs a German Translation of Simple Twist of Fate (as Schicksal) on his new CD Irgendwo Dahinten. Available from: amazon.de

German band Moods of Ally offers two listen-only Dylan covers on their MySpace page, One Too Many Mornings and Property Of Jesus.
Thanks to Detta for the tip.

Caroline Doctorow's cover of I Want You, from her 2003 CD Carmel Valley Ride, can be heard on her MySpace page.
Thanks to Detta for the tip.

From all reports I've seen, the recent 30th Anniversary Celebration DVD for sale from European sellers is a poor quality, abridged version of the official release, with many of the major performances missing. I'm undecided if it should be added to the Video page.

In the pipeline:
New Dylan Cover Albums that have been announced and or rumored and will be added as soon as they are available:
From Broadway to the Milky Way by How Many Roads (Germany - hope to have soon)
In The Well by Kokomo (New Zealand - has been delayed several times, hopefully it will be available soon)
The Phantom Engineers (Ireland - release unknown)

R.I.P. - the passing of two performers who have covered Dylan:
Danny Federici, of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band, covered Knockin' On Heaven's Door on his 2005 Jazz CD Out Of A Dream.
• Bluesman Sean Costello, who covered Obviously 5 Believers on the Blues On Blonde On Blonde album, and also Simple Twist Of Fate on his 2005 eponymous CD.
