From the DylanCover.com collection: Rod Ruby

Blowin' In The Wind (2:54)
Rod Ruby

Sings Your Requests
LP: Lemco 790138; 19?? (US)

The notes on this album provide all I know of Rod Ruby.
"Born in a small town in eastern Kentucky... millions watched and listened as he sang with Fred Waring... still others saw him during his early days on the Ed Sullivan Show as well as an appearance with Jackie Gleason on his network televison extranaganza.. Rod is in great demand as an after dinner speaker/singer/entertainer on the banquet circuit... he has sung with the Palm Beach and Miami Opera Companies... Rod is a big man with a big baritone voice..." You get the idea. Two other LPs by Rod are shown on the album, released by Music Associates, Inc. of Lexington, Kentucky. No date is listed, I would guess mid to late '60s. Blowin' In The Wind is the only then-contemporary song on the album. Other selections include Edelweiss, Some Enchanted Evening, Danny Boy, Battle Hymn of The Republic, and Ol' Man River.
