The Blog in Plain D has been on-line for almost 2 months now, yet I have received very few "comments."
Maybe no-one has anything to say. That's cool..
Maybe no-one is reading the Blog, not so cool but it explains the lack of comments :)...
Or maybe I should remind you that you can comment on any post by clicking "comments" at the bottom of the post. No need to register or sign-up, you can comment anonymously if you wish (or use your Blogger ID name if you have one.)
Ask a question, answer a question, general comments, make a suggestion, do you like the Blog in Plain D?, hate the Blog in Plain D?, like/don't like the changes to Dylan Cover Albums & DylanCover.com, review a CD, I love/like/hate this cover version, etc., etc....

Dave,
Sorry to be negative, but I preferred the site the way it was.
Dave,
Yes, that was negative and nothing else. I've enjoyed looking at your site regularly over the past number of years and I really did prefer it when there was a simply laid out 'News' section. It seemed clearer and more user-friendly, and best of all it didn't use the word 'blog' anywhere in it.
John.
Hi John:
Thanks, any feedback is better than no feedback :)
I had to make changes, simply because I was spending too much time maintaining the site the way it was, and expect to have less time to do it in the near future. My old NEWS page may have been more user-friendly, but it did not get much traffic. It was a lot of work without much of an audience. Using the Blog offers time-saving composition and 1-click publishing, and eliminates the need to maintain the News page, the New additions list, and several other pages.
I have also come to realize that my core audience was dwindling, so changes were necessary to attract some new regular visitors and rekindle interest from the old-timers. Only time will tell if the changes accomplish either of those goals.
I hope you still check in occasionally, Blog or not!
Hello,
I am still hesitant to post a public comment because my english is not very good (I am french)... but today I want to dare to tell my opinion because I would like to let you know that this website is my best friend and is a great help for me and my collection... since I know it (1999) my life changed and my collection became beautiful and precious for me... I love everything in this website, and the changes are still a plus for me... I am sad Dave that in the near future you will have less time for this website because it is the only one which brings me such a great pleasure... for someone like me which consults every day this site(most of the time (!) three times per day), it is not a good new... it is my favourite site personnally; and I LOVE IT.
I am grateful for all you've done, Dave. Thank you.
Sorry for my english. :)

As a Dylan collector, DylanCover.com is one of two
indispensable sites on the web
(the other being Alan Fraser's
Searching For A Gem).
Thank You.
